This section contains information mainly of interest to tenants and leaseholders about the housing areas and area housing offices. Most of Islington’s council tenanted and leasehold
properties receive their services from Homes for Islington.
Your local area housing office deals with the following services: rent enquiries, tenancy matters, re-housing enquiries, communal area repairs, new communal door fobs, estate parking, antisocial behaviour and some housing benefit enquiries. You can also book home visits and make appointments with housing advisors.
Area offices do not deal with street parking; receive rent payments, repairs, major works, the decent homes programme or housing benefit claims.
Information about local services in Islington not provided by Homes for Islington, for example, details about local schools, doctors and dentists, council tax, rubbish collection, street cleaning, street parking and what is on in Islington can be found on the Islington website.
For individual office opening times, times of advisors on housing benefits issues and office facilities please click on the link to your local office.
