If you are using this form for the first time, please read the following instructions:

This form is for online reporting of communal repairs on Homes for Islington estates and blocks. Use it as follows:

• Report only one repair per form. If you need to report more than one repair, start again with another form.
• Do not use this form to report a repair that is an emergency. Emergencies can be reported 24 hours a day by telephoning HFI Direct on 0800 694 3344. (Calls to the freephone number from a mobile phone are charged. If you use a mobile it will cost less to ring 020 7527 5400.)
• Do not use this form to report a communal heating problem. Communal heating problems can be reported 24 hours a day by telephoning HFI Direct on 0800 694 3344.
• Do not use this form to report problems with lifts.                 Problems with lifts can be reported 24 hours a day by telephoning HFI Direct on 0800 694 3344.
• Do not use this form to report a repair inside your home. You can report repairs inside your home online by clicking this link.
• If you are reporting a problem with a lamp post on a Homes for Islington estate, you will need to supply the reference number that is on the lamp post and its location.

Please note: It is possible that another resident may already have reported your communal repair.

What happens next?

After you submit your form, your request will be handled directly by HFI Direct or may be forwarded to the appropriate Quality Assurance Officer in your area housing office.

In the case of most communal repairs a contractor should attend within 3-9 working days. However the contractor may not be able to complete the repair in one visit but must have the repair completed within 25 days of it being ordered. Please also see the frequently asked questions.

You only need to report a repair once. If you have any questions concerning the progress of your repair contact HFI Direct on 0800 694 3344 between 8.00am and 8.00pm Monday-Friday and 8.00am-12noon Saturday or telephone the Quality Assurance Officer in your area housing office.
