How to make a web page a “Favorite”

The following advice is for people who use Microsoft Internet Explorer as their web browser

To make any web page a “Favorite” do the following:

  • Open up the web page that you would like to make a “Favorite.”
  • Go to the menu bar at the top of your web browser and click Favorites.
  • On the drop down menu that opens up, click Add to Favorites. This will create a direct link to your page that you can use for quick access.

To view your Favorites, you need to do the following:

  • Go back up to the top of your web browser and click the Favorites button in the row underneath the menu.
  • This will open your list of Favorites and they will appear beside your web page on the left. You can always close them again and reopen them if you want. To.
  • To go directly to any web page that you have made a Favorite, just click its link.

If you need further help with this, at the top of your web browser, there is a Help button. Click it and in the Help drop down menu choose Content and Index. Next click the Index tab and type in the word Favorite and it will offer you all the help you need.
