If you are a council tenant or leaseholder having problems with pests, then Islington Council’s Pest Control service can help you in the following ways:

Treatment for pests that are a risk to public health:

• Rats
• Cockroaches
• Bedbugs
• Mice
• Pharoah Ants
• Fleas

All officers are fully trained in the safe use of pesticides and all aspects of pest control.

Advice and information on how to deal with pests such as pigeons, squirrels, garden ants, textile moths and carpet beetles.

Free identification of insect pests

To combat pests in your property

• Always dispose of domestic waste properly - wrap it up
  and place in the correct bin or chute.
• Never leave refuse bags in estate corridors or landings.
• Do not leave food out in your kitchens or on your balconies.
