Just Rewards

Homes for Islington’s Just Rewards schemes aim to reward tenants and leaseholders for helping us make savings.

We currently have two ways for customers to collect a Just Rewards payment.

Just Rewards – WHEN YOU MOVE
It costs HFI £290 each time we have to remove unwanted items and rubbish from a vacant property. We also spend thousands of pounds each year putting right tenant alterations. Although we recharge outgoing tenants we would like to encourage and reward tenants who minimise these costs for us.

For helping us make savings on these unnecessary costs, tenants leaving their property clean, clear of belongings and in good repair when they move out will receive £150 Just Rewards. The leaflet for WHEN YOU MOVE has more information.

Just Rewards – DIRECT DEBIT AND STANDING ORDER
We like tenants to pay their rent and leaseholders their service charges by direct debit or standing order because we can monitor payments more easily and can identify more quickly when problems occur. Many of our customers find paying bills using these methods is often much more convenient for them and costs to us of administering them is also less than other methods.

For setting up a direct debit or standing order we will credit your account with £10 Just Rewards. The Just Reward will only be given the first time you set up your Direct Debit or Standing Order.
