The housing office is open from 9am to 4.45pm, Monday to Friday.

For further contact information visit Lyon Street Area . You can call reception during these times or call us on 020 7527 6880 between 9am and 5pm for general housing enquiries such as:

  • Housing Benefit drop in service 9am to 12 noon
  • Housing Benefit appointments are offered between 2.15pm and 3.45pm (only after attending the drop in service)
  • Housing Benefit forms
  • The verification and receipting of completed Housing Benefit forms
  • Tenancy matters and initial form for transfer requests and Housing List registration forms
  • Information about mutual exchange and the up to date list of properties on offer
  • The reporting and investigation of anti social behaviour in and around the properties we manage
  • Arrears recovery and income collection. We have a dedicated Income Recovery team and if you experience difficulties in paying your rent our officers can assist. They can also give advice about claiming housing benefit
  • Our Customer Services Team will book appointments for Tenancy Management/Leasehold Officers, and Income Recovery
  • Repairs to communal areas of estates (you can also report communal repairs to HFI Direct)
  • Estate parking, including permits, letting of car spaces and garages - For further information visit Estate Parking.
  • Issue of new and replacement communal door key fobs
  • Leasehold management
  • Caretaking and cleaning
  • Home Visits when you need them

Our Mobile Response Team deals with:

  • Minor repairs
  • Jet cleaning
  • Graffiti removal

Please note that on the Bemerton Estate, the Tenant Management Organisation (TMO) is responsible for:

  • Day-to-day repairs and maintenance
  • Caretaking and cleaning

We do not deal with the following at the office. Instead you can call the numbers or go to the links listed here:

    020 7527 7264/5 if you wish to report an illegally parked or obstructive vehicle on the street
  • Payment of rent – For information visit How and where to pay your rent. If you need a new rent card, you can telephone to 020 7527 4057/4077 or 4048. (Please note that calls are taken on these numbers during office hours. The exception is Tuesdays and Thursdays before 2pm. At those times leave a message and they will get back to you.)

  • Housing Benefit – You can visit a Housing Benefits officer at the area housing office, but please telephone the area office first to check when they are available. For all telephone enquiries about Housing Benefits, but please call the Housing Benefits number: 020 7527 4990

You may use the courtesy telephones in the reception area to telephone the departments dealing with the above services.

An induction loop system is fitted at one of the desks in our reception area for the convenience of our hearing impaired clients. Private interviews are available on request.
