Community Centres on Housing Estates

Homes for Islington is responsible for over 50 community centres, halls and tenant and resident association community flats throughout the borough. Local residents who are elected to the management committees by local residents and user groups manage these.

The centres are maintained and their management monitored by local area housing offices.

Community centres can be booked for local community activities. Local groups and charities may be able to book free of charge. Otherwise charges vary according to facilities available and the purpose of the booking.

Bookings must be made by contacting the booking secretary or another member of a centre’s management committee.
