Just rewards

Homes for Islington’s Just Rewards schemes aim to reward tenants for helping us make savings. We have recently evaluated our Just Rewards schemes and decided not to continue with the quarterly rent competition because entry levels were low even after four draws and the competition did not have an impact on rent arrears at the lower level. We are currently looking at other reward schemes that may suit Islington residents. It costs HFI £290 each time we have to remove unwanted items and rubbish from a vacant property. We also spend thousands of pounds each year putting right tenant alterations. Although we recharge outgoing tenants we would like to encourage and reward tenants who minimise these costs for us.

Find out if paying by direct debit is the right choice for you. We like it because we can monitor payments easier and can identify quickly when problems occur. It might suit you if you have a bank or building society current account and a regular monthly income. If direct debit is not right for you we have a range of other payment methods available to suit you
