HFI Policy - Environmental Policy

An Environmental Management System (EMS) provides a method of continually improving HFI’s documentation, implementation and maintenance of environmentally responsible procedures.

HFI is currently working towards successful certification of an EMS to an international standard (ISO 14001). The first step is to produce an Environmental Policy.

HFI’s Environmental Policy demonstrates our commitment to controlling and reducing our negative environmental impact by:

• complying with legislation
• preventing pollution
• striving for continual improvement

It is important that all staff understand their role in ensuring HFI performs to the necessary standard.
