Residents were enjoying themselves on 29th August at the third HFI summer fair. St Paul’s Open Space on Ramsay Walk was taken over by inflatable sumo wrestling, a bouncy climbing wall, face painting, juggling, a penalty shoot out area, and a cartoonist.
Islington Mayor, Cllr Stefan Kasprzyk, opened the event and led the fun. Meeting with local residents and joining in the fun and games he said: “This is a great fun event for all the local community and gives everyone a chance to enjoy themselves, and just as importantly, it allows the residents to meet the contractors who are working on improvements to their homes. My thanks to all those involved, HfI and all the contractors, for such a wonderful idea!"
The event was sponsored by, Mullalley, Murphy, Apollo, Kier Islington, Balfour Beatty and Mansell. All these are contractors are involved in major works programmes on HFI estates.
