Help for tenants who need to store their mobility vehicles externally

Homes for Islington recognise that some of our residents may not be able to enjoy the benefits of a mobility vehicle because they lack the space inside their property to store it. To help any residents in this situation we have recently introduced a policy designed to make having storage equipment installed outside their property easier.

Our staff will now be able to provide anyone interested in this with advice about mobility vehicles, financing the installation and making an application to have storage equipment installed. We will also carry out inspections to ensure that the installation is going to be safe and suitable for the applicant and for other residents.
