Press Release

HFI Caretaker of the Year 2008

May 2008

Ali Bey-Osman has won the prestigious HFI Caretaker of the Year award for 2008.

Ali is the caretaker for the Highcroft and Belvoir estates and the award is presented every year to the caretaker who is judged to have provided the best service.

Nominations for the award come from both staff and residents and Ali was nominated by a number of residents on his estate who found him friendly and approachable. They were pleased with his work and keen to see him recognised for the effort he puts in ensuring that the estate remains clean and tidy.

One resident said of Ali: “He is dedicated to his work and is always helping the elderly residents on this estate. His commitment to his work, helpfulness and good manners make him an ideal candidate for this award.”

Eddie Niles, HFI Board Director and Chair of the HR Committee said: "This is always a popular award which attracts a lot of interest from residents. The fact that residents put forward nominations makes it important as it means the winners have genuinely impressed the people on their estate with the quality of their work. It is always great for us to be able to reward frontline staff on the recommendation of the residents. Congratulations to Ali."
