Stamp Out! event - 1 December 2010
Stamp Out! are holding a free anti-bullying and anti-social behaviour event for people who work or live in Islington. The event will take place at the Town Hall on Wednesday 1st December 2010 and will start at 10.30am. There will be a facilitated panel debate with Q&A, stalls and refreshments. Islington residents' convention - 6 November 2010
All HFI residents and registered social landlords have been invited to attend Islington residents' convention on 6 November in the Assembly Hall, Town Hall, Upper Street. The event will run from 10.30am to 3pm. Residents will be able to meet staff and councillors to have their say about the housing services they receive. They can also attend one of four workshops to give their views on:
* Repairs and major works
* Antisocial behaviour and the look and feel of their estate
* Friendly and accessible services
* Overcrowding, housing needs and moving home

Volleyball for Women aged 16 and above
There are exciting new opportunities for women aged 16 and above to get involved in Volleyball in Islington. The new weekly Volleyball coaching progamme is due to start soon at the Sobell Leisure Centre, delivered in partnership with Homes for Islington.

Homes for Islington’s Leaseholder information fair 2010
The fourth annual leaseholder information fair takes place on Wednesday 27 October at the Assembly Hall, Islington Town Hall on Upper Street. The fair will run from 2pm-8pm, with a presentation at 6pm from Councillor Murray. Following the success of last year’s event, this fair gives an opportunity for all leaseholders to speak to Homes for Islington, Islington Council and Partners, plus other useful partners including Broadway our independent leasehold advice service. Summer of fun - HFI Area Housing Office fun days
Come along for a day of fun, including BBQ, bouncy castle, face painting, massage, health checks, information stalls, Energy Saving Doctor, Arsenal Positive Futures and lots more fun and free activities. Proactive Islington Festival of Sports and Cycling - 19th June 2010

Strengthening Families 10-14 UK - Start date: Monday 7th June

The Big Reduction
On behalf of Islington Council, HFI would like to invite you and your neighbours to The Big Reduction. Come and join the debate on what you can do to reduce your carbon footprint and tell us what you’d like to see others doing to reduce their carbon pollution. Bob Gilbert, Director of Sustainability at Islington Council, and Friends of the Earth will be talking at the event, providing an introduction to your carbon footprint and Islington Council’s priorities for the future. Islington Health & Personal Well-Being Day 2010 - Sat 13th Feb 2010
Islington’s 4th annual health fair takes place on Saturday 13th February at the Resource Centre (356 Holloway Road – next to Waitrose). Admission is only £1 and the event is open to everybody. The Islington Health Trainers Service will provide professional Health Trainers to work on a one to one basis and provide support for people wishing to change their lifestyle habits, and thereby improve their health.
