New Council Housing for Islington

Armour Close Garages

HFI is currently redeveloping the former Armour Close garage site by building 4 new homes. This is the first site to be developed and the the plans are to provide four two-storey, three-bed family houses.

Planning permission was agreed in March 2008 once all consultation had been carried out with the residents in the local area and the garages were demolished in May 2008 to make way for the new development.

Mansell have been nominated as the chosen constructor for this scheme and have been working closely with HFI to build up the scheme before the agreed start on site date of 14th July 2008. Work is likely to take approximately 50 weeks with the new properties available to rent by summer 2009.
