HFI have recently completed the redevelopment of the former Armour Close garage site by building 4 new homes.
This was the first site to be developed as part of Islington Council’s new build programme for social housing. The scheme has provided 4 two-storey, three-bed family houses.
Planning permission was agreed in March 2008 once all consultation had been carried out with the residents in the local area. The garages were demolished in May 2008 to make way for the new development. Mansell Construction Services, the nominated contractor, then began construction on the 14th July 2008.
The houses were handed over to our lettings department and the first tenants moved into the properties on Tuesday 13th October 2009.
