You may want a relative, friend or someone from a voluntary organisation to help you to make your complaint. Local organisations and independent advice services are listed in the Directory of advice services for Islington residents. You can also ask for help at any Homes for Islington office.
If you are blind, partially sighted, deaf or hard of hearing you can contact Islington Council’s Sensory Disability Team at 166 Upper Street, N1 1XU (Tel: 020 7527 3394, Minicom: 020 7527 3282). They have a full-time sign language interpreter who may be able to accompany you to appointments with council officers.
A large text version of our complaints leaflet and any other help can be obtained by contacting your nearest Homes for Islington Area Housing Office who can arrange for interpreters, translators and sign language translators if you need them, and will do their best to help you.
