Consultation & Involvement

This section gives information on how residents are informed, consulted and involved in the management of their homes.

If you take the time to talk - we’ll take the time to listen

HFI are looking at ways to increase how we consult with our residents and give them a greater choice in the way(s) they can be consulted.
We want to hold details of residents who have chosen how they will be consulted, how often and on the topics of their choice.

Involvement Register Form (pdf file 84.1Kb)

Who will be able to register?

All Homes For Islington tenants and leaseholders (including family members of any of these) as well as anyone who lives on an estate or in a block that is managed by Homes for Islington will be welcome to register.

So what kind of things will I be consulted on?

  • You could tell us your views on the services we provide
  • You will be given the chance to give your views on issues that are important to your community
  • You will have the chance to make suggestions and put forward ideas for service improvements
  • You can choose the way you want to be involved, and what you would like to be involved in

What will you be expected to do?

  • Choose the services you wish to comment on
  • Choose how you wish to be involved. Maybe it will be completing a survey, attending a conference, reply to e-mails, attending a discussion group
  • Give your views on existing housing services and priorities for improvements.

If you require any further details or are interested in getting involved contact Jacqueline Robinson on 020 7527 2903 or e-mail jacqueline.robinson@homesforislington.org.uk

Homes for Islington Resident Involvement Register update September 07

We had a great response to our invitation in the Summer edition of HFI News to become members on the HFI Resident Involvement Register.

We have written to all members thanking them for their interest and have noted how, when and in what format they would like to be contacted.
We currently have a membership of 500 tenants and leaseholders and we are sure that this number will grow during the coming months.

We have already started to use the register to gain feedback on our services from tenants and leaseholders.

We will give feedback on this web page in the next edition of HFI News on the improvements made through consultations with the members of the Resident Involvement Register.
