F.I.T.A Federation of Islington Tenant Associations

The Federation of Islington Tenants Associations (F.I.T.A.) is an independent, borough-wide tenant umbrella organisation, run by members of council recognised tenant and resident associations. FITA actively lobbies for better conditions, better facilities and the rights of everyone to a decent, warm affordable home in good repair.

FITA is committed to providing the best possible service within its resources. The experienced FITA workers can provide information, advice and complete help in setting up new tenant and resident associations as well as on-going support for existing associations.

With the changes to the council structure and on-going changes to consultation, it has never been more important for council tenants and leaseholders to have proper representation in order to ensure that they are fully involved in decisions that are going to affect their homes and environment.
