Our policy and commitments

Homes For Islington is committed to ensuring that all residents enjoy their right to peace, quiet, and security in their homes. We recognise that anti-social behaviour can have a severe effect on the well being of residents and that we have a duty to take action to minimise it. Consequently we are using a range of measures to both prevent ASB happening in the first place and to take action to stop it.

We recognise that tackling ASB has broad consequences that affect other priorities such as letting properties and achieving customer satisfaction. We will take appropriate and prompt action within our powers to deal with disruptive tenants and other persons causing a nuisance or harassment on estates or in individual dwellings. There is an anti-social behaviour officer in each of HFI’s directly managed housing offices.
