Telephone If you use textphone, you can contact us using Typetalk or on the minicom telephone numbers you will see on Homes for Islingtons documents and leaflets.

To tell us about a repair using minicom from 8am to 8pm on Monday to Friday and 8am to 12noon on Saturday the number is 0800 0730536. If you have an emergency repair to report outside these hours you can use minicom 020 7527 1900.

Fax machine You can contact us by fax machine. The fax numbers for our local offices are available by clicking here.

SPIT hands If you are Deaf and use British Sign Language (BSL) we can arrange for a professional BSL interpreter if you have an appointment at one of our offices or if we visit you at home. (We use Islington Council’s Sign Language Interpreting Service). Visit the Islington Council website for more information about the Council’s Sign Language Interpreting Service.
Important: You need to tell us when arranging the appointment or visit that you communicate using BSL so that we can book a BSL interpreter.

Induction loop All of our offices are fitted with induction hearing loop systems. You can use the induction hearing loop system by switching your hearing aid to the “T” setting when you visit the office.

Translation Available You will see this symbol on many of Homes for Islington (HFI) documents. It means that HFI can provide you with an interpreter if you need one.
