How we can help if you are deaf or hard of hearing

Telephone If you use textphone, you can contact us using Typetalk or on the minicom telephone numbers you will see on Homes for Islingtons documents and leaflets.

To tell us about a repair using minicom from 8am to 8pm on Monday to Friday and 8am to 12noon on Saturday the number is 0800 0730536. If you have an emergency repair to report outside these hours you can use minicom 020 7527 1900.

From 8am to 8pm on Monday to Friday and from 8am to 12 noon on Saturday you can email repairs@homesforislington.org.uk. If you have an emergency repair to report outside these hours you can email linkline@islington.gov.uk.

Sign Language If you are a Deaf and use British Sign Language (BSL) and you have an appointment in the office or at your home, we can arrange for a professional BSL interpreter.

Important: You need to tell us that you need a BSL interpreter so that we can arrange it in advance. (We use Islington Council’s Sign Language Interpreting Service).

Translation Available You will see this symbol on many of Homes for Islington (HFI) documents. It means that HFI can provide you with an interpreter if you need one.
