Tackling antisocial behaviour on the Bemerton Estate

June 2009

HFI have obtained a 12 month antisocial behaviour injunction against Jack Foster following a series of incidents of antisocial behaviour around the Bemerton estate.

The injunction orders that Mr Foster is prohibited from:

Engaging in conduct which causes or is likely to cause nuisance, harassment, annoyance, fear or intimidation to:

  • any person residing on the Bemerton estate
  • any person lawfully present on the Bemerton estate
  • any person employed by Islington Council, Homes for Islington or Partners

Mr Foster is also banned from entering the Bemerton estate.

The injunction was granted following a successful court application to Clerkenwell & Shoreditch County Court and follows an interim injunction in April.

Failure to obey the injunction is an arrestable offence and could lead to imprisonment.
