Come and meet us

Remember to look out for HFI activities and fun days giving you a chance to meet your neighbours and create the community feelings that mean that your home is your castle.

Did you know that there is more green grass area on the estates of Islington than in our parks?

So, as you saunter through your estate take a moment to look around. You may see flowers blooming, shrubs growing, children’s playgrounds being improved and community centres being repainted.

If you’d like to get involved with activities on your estate you can contact your local Tenants and Residents Association (TRA).

Watch out for community safety days
HFI are working in partnership with LBI and local agencies to increase safety on Islingtons’ estates. Surveys will take place on estates asking residents what their ASB issues are and ask for solutions to tackle. Following the survey a community safety day takes place with relevant ASB agencies attending.

Proactive Islington Festival of Sports and Cycling - 19th June 2010
Free event from 12 to 6pm outside Arsenal Emirates Stadium.  Join our day out for all the family.  There'll be something for everyone, including World Cup Zone, Sports Zone, Health & Dance Zone, Cycling Zone and much more.

Strengthening Families 10-14 UK - Start date: Monday 7th June
A free programme for families with children aged 10-14 to help prepare for the teenage years, avoid problems with drugs and alcohol and strengthening family communication. Course duration: 7 weeks. Click on the link above for full details.
